The road to a cashless future is being paved by stand-alone apps, brands, and social platforms that are making mobile payments a reality for early adopting young consumers who want their transactions speedy, easy, and trackable. But cash isn’t dead just yet. According to a study by the Federal Reserve Bank, 18-24-year-olds actually reported using cash more than older adults, for nearly half of their purchases.
