Yet another Millennial childhood entertainment favorite is coming to the big screen! Fraggle Rock, the classic ‘80s children’s TV series, is set to become a live-action movie produced by and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt. A movie adaptation of the show has been in the works for over a decade, but the star’s participation should move the project forward. Like many in his generation, Gordon-Levitt has been a muppet and Fraggle Rock fan since his youth, saying, “The first screen personas I ever loved were Henson creations.” Millennials’ appetite for nostalgia viewing doesn’t seem to be dying down, so Fraggle Rock could be another reboot success.
