Modern parents are notorious for overwhelming newsfeeds with photos and TMI news of their children, a trend some call “sharenting.” A recent study found that 54% of moms and 34% of dads talk about children’s health and parenting issues on social media, but 74% complain about other parents’ oversharing. The long-term impacts of children's information being broadcast without their consent is a concern for many. However, the ability to parent with social media is also a comfort: 67% say they use social platforms to get advice from more experienced parents. (MediaPost)
