Lego has found themselves in hot water again thanks to their potentially misguided attempts to appeal to young girls.

Mar 20 2015

Lego has found themselves in hot water again thanks to their potentially misguided attempts to appeal to young girls. The brand published beauty tips in their Lego Club magazine, which is written for children five to 12-years-old. The tips suggest hairstyles based on girls’ face shapes, and some parents are furious at the company for content they consider unnecessary and inappropriate. One parenting blogger writes, “now all I’m left with is doubt — doubt whether Lego has my daughter’s best interests in mind, and doubt whether we’ll be buying any more Lego Friends.” Lego has issued a statement of regret in response to the backlash.
