Sexting has become a new norm for teens, and many are finding creative ways to hide elicit mobile activity from parents’ prying eyes. According to recent studies, more than half of undergrad students sent sexts when they were teenagers, and almost 30% said they included photos. Using ephemeral apps like Snapchat, VaporChat, and Cyber Dust is one way that teens are hiding sexting from adults. But while they might be adept at concealing sexting activity, they aren’t as well informed about sexting laws: 61% did not know that texting nude pictures could be considered child pornography. (CNN)
