Privacy breeches, money scams, and trolls, oh my! The internet can be a scary place, especially when you spend a lot of time online, as many Millennials do. They are more likely than any other generation to say that the internet is scary, with 37% of Millennials 18-34-years-old agreeing with this sentiment compared to 23% of both 35-55-year-olds and the 55 and above age group. The amount of time that younger consumers have spent on the web during their formative years, when they are more likely to engage in risky behavior, could be a reason for their outlook. (Bloomberg)
