Millions of Millennials have participated in the sharing economy, but the laws they live under haven’t necessarily caught up with the peer-to-peer industries they’re eager to embrace. A recent survey found that more than half of 18-34-year-olds have used sharing services like Uber, Sidecar, Lyft, and Airbnb, and 54% believe those services will only become more popular. But in many cities, companies like Uber are battling governments who still consider them illegal.
