Millennial workers around the world don’t want all of the same things, but they do have quite a bit in common. A recent survey of 18-30-year-olds across 43 countries found that 40% of Millennials worldwide want to become leaders and are most are motivated by high future earnings. Work-life balance is hard to universally define, but 57% say it means “enough leisure time for my private life.” Of that leisure time, spending time with family was a high priority across the board. Somewhat controversially, the study found that for the majority of Millennials, working for the betterment of society was not a priority. (Harvard Business Review)
