Nostalgia sells with Millennials, and they’ve helped bring back vinyl and save Polaroid—could film photography be the next close-to-obsolete product they save? The more expensive, time consuming way of taking photos is reportedly experiencing a comeback, with new users saying it’s “fun,” “retro,” and allows them “to slow down.” A survey by photo film brand Ilford found a third of film users are under 35 years old, and 60% of that group said they had picked up film photography in the past five years. Of course with these users there is still a digital element of sorts: 90% reported that they go online to educate themselves and discuss the skill. (Quartz)
