During Sunday’s Grammys broadcast, Pharrell used his time on stage to make a statement about an issue that has angered and provoked many Millennials. While performing his hit song “Happy,” the artist and his dancers, dressed in black hoodies, at one point stopped and raised their arms, paying tribute to the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” protests surrounding the Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin trials. Pharrell has not publicly acknowledged the gesture, but has been receiving kudos from fans on social media for the unspoken message. (Huffington PostMashable)
