Millennials are always interested in saving the world on the side, and integrating social good into the things they are already doing—hence the success of buy one, give one brands. Catching on to this trend, Fitbit is partnering up with hunger relief organization Feeding America in a program that donates meals to people in need based on the amount of calories Fitbit users burn. Anyone with a Fitbit can opt into the FitForFood program, which could donate up to 1.5 million meals by the end of the campaign on March 3rd. Comedian Joel McHale stars in the humorous video demonstrating how the program works—simply be active and you’re doing good—and encouraging viewers to participate “for America.” (Fast Company)
