We know that Millennials are more inclined to buy from brands that are socially and environmentally conscious. Case in point, TOMS made the top three in the list of Millennials’ favorite brands. JWT’s collection of trends for 2015 includes the expansion of the buy-one-give-one model, the (ironic sounding) shift to cleaner washing products, and “aspirational” upcycling like surf brand Faherty that recycles plastics into shorts. They also predict a trend in “circular hospitality”: restaurants making a stronger effort to reduce their food waste to zero. (Fast Company)
