This year, Nike+ gave 100,000 of them, giving its users some hard earned recognition with unique motivational videos, and an innovative dose ofpersonalized marketing. Using each individual’s exercise data history, the brand created animated “Your Year” shorts integrating their 2014 workout stats, location, and even local weather, encouraging them to “outdo you” in the New Year. The campaign is a great example of how brands can play with Numbers Game, the rising trend of Millennials playing with their personal data to not only optimize their lives but also entertain. (WSJ)
