While the debate about what small screens are doing to young minds continues, some are tapping into the educational potential of modern tech and leveraging it to make learning easier and maybe even more fun. Disney is joining that movement, launching their first Imagicademy learning apps onDecember 11th. The suite will provide over 30 apps to educate—in a fun, colorful way, of course—about math, science, creative arts, social skills, and more. Each comes with a parent companion app for caregivers to follow along and provide assistance, as well as recommended physical activities to complement lessons.  (TechCrunch)
