Do you want to buy a snowman? For the first time in 11 years, Barbie has been dethroned as the number one toy parents plan to buy for girls, with Frozen items now topping the list. The National Retail Federation's survey found that 20% of parents say they plan to buy Frozen merchandise, compared to 16.8% who plan to buy Barbie. The other items on the top five gifts for girls list are dolls, Monster High Dolls, and American Girl dolls. (Chicago Tribune)
