Teens can make pretty much anyone famous. This weekend a photo of a young Target employee named Alex was posted on Twitter and went majorly viral. The #AlexFromTarget meme was spread on social media by teens, Vine and YouTube stars, and even Target themselves. Whether or not Alex will take advantage of his newfound celebrity (he has had to change his phone number) remains to be seen, but the trend is a great example of micro-fame and the power of creative young internet users.
