Kamcord is an app that allows mobile gamers to record and share their game-play, but young consumers are not just using it to brag about their high scores. Teens are creating animated videos with the recordings in which they talk about their days, sing songs, and meet with friends, similar to vlogging, but all taking place within a virtual world as avatars. Kamcord users have shared over 25 million videos, 11 million of which have come from My Talking Tom, a game about taking care of a kitten that features dressed up cats with high-pitched voices.
