Despite the belief they will never grow up, Millennials do feel like adults. In fact, as we covered in our most recent Ypulse Quarterly, 85% say they feel more like an adult than a kid. But how they define being an adult differs from previous generations. A recent poll found that while at one point adulthood was defined by things like getting married and having children, this generation sees it in more “individualistic” terms like “taking responsibility for one's self, achieving financial independence, and making independent decisions.” (NYMag)
