In case you missed it, Subway received quite a bit of backlash against a recent ad implying that young female customers should be staying slim to fit in their sexy Halloween costumes. Consumers made their dissatisfaction with the marketing known on social media, where the spot was called “sexist” and “stupid” and blogs called it out for being “creepy.” Now it appears that the brand has removed the ad from YouTube, though unfortunately they won’t be able to erase it from the memories of those they offended.
