Naming the next generation is often a hotly contested topic, and coining the label for post-Millennials is no exception. Our 2013 Naming the Next Generation conference proposed the name Plurals, to reflect the culture of fragmentation the group is growing up with. Now yet another name for post-Millennials is being thrown into the ring: the Post Generation, as they are “inheriting a world” that is post-Obama, post-9/11, post-smartphones, and more. Regardless of what we call them, these young consumers will be hyper-connected, more diverse than ever, and consider progressive causes to be the status quo. (Adweek)
