The Google Science Fair showcases “brilliant kids” with ideas that could solve some of the world’s problems, and participating teens compete for a $50,000 scholarship. This year’s finalists include three 16-year-olds using bacteria to help combat the global food crisis, and a 14-year-old who hopes to put an end to cyberbullying with software that warns teens when they are posting hurtful content.
