Last night’s MTV VMAs were as twerk-filled as ever, but one of the most buzzed about moments of the show was about social good, not pop star scandals. In a sharp contrast to her performance last year, Miley Cyrus used her stage time to put a good cause in the spotlight, sending a formerly homeless teen named Jesse up to the stage in her place to raise awareness around the issue of homeless and runaway youth.
