Now the first wearable tech for babies is here. Sproutling allows parents to quantify all of baby’s actions and track the info on a mobile app that shows data like heart rate, alerts when the little one is about to wake up, and even predicts what mood they’ll be in. Sproutling’s ad proclaims the device helps parents, “Be a life-living, sleep-having, baby-raising badass,” but Daily Beast wonders if this tech will turn babies into living, breathing Tamagotchis.
