Is DC Comics pinkwashing to get more women to read their content? A planned reboot of Batgirl is going to add some “flirt, fun, and fashion” to the series, and Wonder Woman is going to be made more “mainstream” with an increased focus on her “interpersonal relationships.” Though the “girly” changes are somewhat speculation, DC should beware: there is danger in relying on gender stereotypes to attract Millennial women.
