Apple has previewed an iOS 8 feature that could impact image sharing culture: mobile time-lapse photography. The time-lapse mode will automatically produce videos that show “an accelerated sequence of photos over time.” The new setting could appeal to Millennials’ burgeoning desire for “instant time capsules,” but is not ideal for selfie-taking. You can still expect time-lapse videos to flood social media when the mode is introduced this fall. (PS Mag)
