The majority of Millennials ages 12-15 are in front of a computer or TV for at least two hours a day—which experts say is too much, and doesn’t even count their time on a smartphone or tablet. More time in front of a screen is correlated with obesity and other health risks, but parents have a difficult job limiting kids’ media use when they feel their social lives depend on it, and in many cases schoolwork requires computer time as well.
