Millennials might be group-oriented, but their relationship with workplace friends is a complex one. A study by LinkedIn has found that though 46% believe that friendship with co-workers makes them happier, and 51% stay in touch with former colleagues, 68% say they would sacrifice a friendship with a colleague for a promotion. That stat is likely a result of the hyper-competitive job market the generation faces. (Businessweek)
