Millennials’ smartphone addiction is so intense that 18-34-year-olds account for 41% of the total time that Americans spend using smartphones, despite being a fraction of the overall population. 50% of these older Millennials who own a smartphone say that they access the internet more through their phone than they do through a computer, and they spend an average of 14.5 hours a week using their mobile devices.
