Another Millennial childhood favorite is returning to the small screen: The Powerpuff Girls is being revived and will be back on Cartoon Network in 2016. The original series, which ran from 1998 to 2005, was wildly popular, using a mix of sci-fi and pop culture to attract a diverse Millennial audience. We’ll have to wait and see whether the series will be able to strike gold again with the next generation of viewers. (The Verge)
