Many older Millennials have beloved memories of Reading Rainbow, the children’s literature-focused TV show starring LeVar Burton, and now a new generation may get to grow up with the show. Burton himself launched a Kickstarter to bring Reading Rainbowback for “every child…everywhere,” and in just 11 hours the campaign raised more than its $1 million goal. The plan to bring back the show involves creating a web and classroom version to deliver reading education to kids in need. (Daily Beast)
