Intel is furthering our hypothesis that smart clothes might be the real future of wearable tech. At the recent Re/code conference, the brand previewed a “smart shirt” it expects to ship sometime this summer. The shirt is made with smart fibers that can read biometrics like heart rate while exercising, and the brand hopes to provide wearable tech it all kinds of formats as the technology isn’t “one size fits all.” (Re/code)
