The continually slumping sales of teen fashion retailers are beginning to result in some major changes. American Eagle Outfitters is shuttering 150 stores over the next three years, and Abercrombie is finally rethinking some of their signature techniques, cutting back on perfume sprays, covering up models, and introducing some larger sizes. For the first time ever, the brand will also introduce black clothing, a color that was previously against design protocol. (Consumerist, Businessweek)
