Google is one step closer to the coveted same-day-delivery system that so many are sure will be the future of retail, positioning the brand as a major Amazon competitor. The just-launched Google Shopping Express delivers goods from major local retailers like Target, Staples, and Costco to customers in NYC and L.A., and the program will be free for the first six months to hook buyers.
