The Giver might be one of the more highly anticipated movies of the year (at least for Millennial viewers). Now the first trailer for the film has been released, and scrutiny of it is already intense. The Giver will be released in August and we expect buzz will continue to build, but viewers who adored the book growing up will be difficult to please. (Slate)
