A 10-year-old girl’s pitch for a disabled American Girl doll is going viral. The girl, Melissa Shang, uses a wheelchair and her petition to the toy maker tells them that none of their dolls look like her. American Girl has been making efforts to reach a wider range of kids so Shang’s pleas might be heard. (The Week)
