In the same vein, job titles are getting a makeover. For example, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, a leader in textbook publishing refers to their 22-year-old receptionist as the “Director of First Impressions.” A strategy originally derived from tech startups, recently has been infiltrating the corporate org chat. Using Millennials’ need for constant self-expression, HR departments and business leaders are taking this as motivation to revamp their companies in creative ways. (Boston Globe)
