Children’s online privacy is a key concern for parents and other adults with 80% opposed to allowing advertisers to collect and use information about a child's activities online, regardless of whether advertisers use the child’s name. Moreover, 91% are against advertisers collecting a child’s location from a mobile phone. Many will be glad to know that the Federal Trade Commission is expected to expand the Children’s Online Privacy Act to expand the rules. (Adweek)
