It’s summertime—the season of spontaneous plans, last-minute invites, and constant “What’s the move?” texts. A quick scroll through social feeds is all it takes to spark young people’s next plans, and seeing friends (or influencers) out having fun makes them eager to get the same experience. And the appetite to actually show up in person is huge: YPulse’s Experiences report shows the vast majority of 13-39-year-olds (79%) are interested in attending in-person events within the next six months. This interest isn’t just about warm weather, of course—young people are saying yes to IRL experiences across the board. And they’re putting their wallets where their priorities are: YPulse data shows 64% of 13-39-year-olds would rather spend on experiences than products.
