86% of Millennials say they are “proud to be American,” but, as with many things, the generation is redefining what patriotism means to them. According to MTV’s new “Millennials & #Merica” study, 60% of 16-24-year-olds in the U.S. also consider themselves “global citizens” (compared to 43% of Boomers) and 80% agree that “some actions of the American government make it hard to be proud.” (MTV Press)
