Barcelona will be opening a pet cemetery in the city next year. Pet ownership sky-rocketed during COVID in many countries in Europe. The city council in Barcelona took notice, and decided to build a cemetery for pets, the first-ever in the country. Pet owners will have cremation or burial options available on site, and the whole process should cost them around €200.
