With all of the tech news and smartphone hype, it’s easy to peg Millennials as a digital-only generation, but a recent study has found that Millennials are actually out-reading older generations. Though previous research had found that the percentage of teens who read has dropped over the last 20 years, 88% of Americans under 30 say they read a book in the last year, compared to 79% of older respondents. Younger readers were also “more likely than older adults to say that there is 'a lot of useful, important information that is not available on the internet.'” (The Atlantic)
