Pre-K kids might not be nagging parents for Apple Watches just yet, but they are certainly begging for mobile devices. 50% of kids who don’t have a tablet ask their parents to buy them one, and 18% of pre-K children say they ask their parents for a smartphone. Of those, 43% ask specifically for iPhones. While this age group is hardly the target demographic for high-end tech, their persistent parent-persuasion could influence families’ device purchasing decisions. (MediaPost)
