The Sloomoo Institute is catering to Gen Z and Millennials’ love of soothing content. YPulse has tracked young people’s love of slime content since it first began trending in 2017 and it’s continued to be all over social media since. The industry has grown significantly since then, and now The Sloomoo Institue is creating a space for the slime-loving community to come and relax their minds, soothe their senses, and engage their neurodivergent visitors. They recently revamped their NYC location and are expanding this month to Atlanta and Chicago. With a heavy focus on art and creativity, these slime spaces are intended to target mental well-being through slime-play and create an IRL experience for those who love watching slime content on YouTube, TikTok, etc. While this may seem like a fun activity for the kiddos, The Sloomoo Institue is actually meant for adults who desperately need to reconnect with their inner child.
