We Heart It, an image-based social network for visual expression connects over 25 million, mostly teen female, users around the world through visual communication. The platform recently surveyed 1,200 of these users ages 13-18 about their views and found that 62% are somewhat or very concerned about bullying, and 59% say body image is a top concern. Social media is not likely helping these worries: 56% say they sometimes see content they find disturbing on social networks, and bullying and mean-spirited posts topped their lists of what they considered disturbing.
