Toys R Us is coming back from the dead! The toy store that Millennials grew up with closed all locations in 2018 after declaring bankruptcy, and a few revivals have been attempted since, including a limited shop-in-shop partnership with Macy’s last year. Now, that team-up is expanding to put Toys R Us in nearly every Macy’s, so the retailer will “be just about everywhere for the holidays.” Some of the locations will house Toys R Us actions up to 1000 square feet, and will include demonstrations and photo ops with Geoffrey the giraffe. YPulse research shows that over half of Millennial parents did at least some of their holiday shopping in a physical store last year, and 65% bought toys or games for gifts. (CNN)
