Lululemon is selling hijabs in an effort to make the athleticwear space more inclusive. Taking steps to becoming more inclusive, Lululemon recently debuted two hijabs on its ecommerce site, with a third style expected to launch later this year. The Performance Hijab is described as a “lightweight hijab” that features a pinless, over-the-head design intended to stay secure during workouts; the OTM Scarf Hijab is made of soft performance fabric and has an extra length that can be transformed into whatever shape suits the wearer; and the OTM Pull On Hijab will also be made with soft performance fabric and easily slips on over the head. Lululemon isn’t the first athleticwear brand to invest in hijabs: in 2017, Nike released its first “Pro Hijab” for female Muslim athletes and followed up with a Swim Hijab. (Retail Dive)
