Gucci is debuting their latest clothing collection on The Sims. The future of marketing is inside video games, and The Sims is the latest game that fashion brands are using to show off their new clothes. To promote their Off the Grid sustainable clothing line, Gucci is taking a sustainable approach by virtually recreating the collection in The Sims 4 universe. They worked with content creators Grimcookies and Harrie who uploaded tutorial videos on YouTube on how they replicated the collection for the digital world. Sims players can have their characters don Gucci hats and accessories, and when they choose the clothing they receive in-game boosts including a mood lift “as praise for their environmentally ethical choices.” (L’Officiel)
