Sweatsuits are the “anti-fashion” trend of pandemic fashion week.

Sweatsuits are the “anti-fashion” trend of pandemic fashion week. Sweatsuits and other loungewear have become the “unofficial uniform of the pandemic,” and they’ve made their way to high fashion runways. At New York Fashion Week, sustainable designer Zero + Maria Cornejo debuted a silky hot pink top with matching pants, while PH5 showcased printed “lounge-like” pants with a matching sweatshirt and bucket hat as well as a matching knit set. Even Rodarte, known for stylish “ethereal dresses,” displayed an athletic-inspired sweatsuit and pajama sets. Masks were also spotted in many collections. (Refinery29)
