Burger King will be launching “mobile focused” restaurants shaped “by the age of COVID-19.” Burger King has already gotten the hang of pandemic marketing, and is working to make the dining experience in restaurants safer as well. The fast food chain unveiled two restaurant designs that will reportedly be 100% touchless and 60% smaller than a traditional restaurant. They have dedicated mobile order and curbside pickup areas, drive-in and walk-up order areas, enhanced drive-thrus, exterior dining space, and sustainable elements. The newly designed restaurants will be first built in Miami, Latin America, and Caribbean, and are expected to open sometime next year. (Forbes, CNBC, Restaurant Dive)
