| TikTok’s lawsuit reveals they have 100 million U.S. users. We have known the app’s growth has been astronomical among Gen Z and Millennial users, but now they’re sharing user numbers for the first time in their suit against the Trump administration. They currently claim more than 100 million active users in the U.S., an increase from 40 million monthly users in October, and say 50 million are daily users. Currently, Instagram reports 110 million U.S. users, and Snapchat reports 101 million—so relative newcomer TikTok could beat the competition’s numbers by the end of the year. According to YPulse’s most recent social media monitor survey, over half of Gen Z currently use the app. (TubeFilter, AdAge) |
